No more weapons sold in the city

The public order office in Frankfurt declared that no more weapons are going to be sold. This decision was based on some serious criticism, which allegedly blamed the office of selling up to 5% of confiscated weaponry. The head of the security department Volker Stein (SPD) reacted to the criticism by enforcing new regulations. In the future, all weapons that are dispensed at the office will be destroyed. The only exceptions will be some exemplars used for educational purposes at the city police department, and weapons that were used in criminal acts for evidence purposes.
