Commerzbank
sells company.
The
German Commerzbank has sold the Montrada GmbH, a specialist firm for the
handling of payments via credit cards. From now on, the Bad Vilbel-based
company will be part of the Dutch enterprise Equens SE. The companies have
already agreed on the deal; the relevant regulators, however, still
need to give the green light. The Montrada GmbH employs 60 people and handles
up to 3.7 billion payment transactions per year. The Dutch Equens SE manages up
to 9 billion transactions per year.
