Crocodile Dundee

The police caught an alligator in Frankfurt-Ostend this past Saturday. The three-meter-long reptile is part of the new "Land of Reptiles" show. Obviously bored with his usual surroundings, "Ali" had escaped and had cosied up at a near-by building site.

 

According to the organisers of "Land of Reptiles", Ali is completely harmless. He is already 65 years old and weighs 170 kilograms. Benign or not, the police luckily caught the alligator before it decided to end his little field trip with a swim in the Main.
