Taunus grounds developing
A subsidiary company of Crédit Suisse wants to erect a new high-rise building on the Taunus grounds. The owner of the abandoned building wants to replace the old structure with a new, 60-metre-high block.
The city's buildings department has already given the green light and two Frankfurt architecture firms have already been short-listed: Offenbach's architecture-legend, Fritz Novotny, and the firm of Till Schneider and Michael Schumacher, who are temporarily working to expand the "Städel" museum.
