Hessian Judge Wolski Urged to Resign
At a state parliament debate yesterday in Wiesbaden, members of both the ruling coalition and the opposition called for Hessian judge Karin Wolski to resign from her position at the state court. The stance comes in light of several controversial matters; there are alleged tax evasions, various unjustified properties and her husband’s multi-million tax evasion trial, in which Judge Wolski is said to be involved.
The opposition parties, comprised of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), the Greens and Left, all urged Karin Wolski to resign from her position. Even the ruling parties the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and the Free Democratic Party (FDP) indirectly suggested that resignation was the next step for her to take. Register to read more... |
